Location, length, time

The abstract should not exceed 5% of the volume of your dissertation so that readers can quickly review it.

The dissertation abstract should be written before the table of contents and after the preface. Please make sure you write it in the present perfect or present tense.
Acronyms, links to sources
Remember that when reading an abstract, people should understand what the scientific work is about. When you use any literary source in standard dissertations, you must include references. But don't use them in your abstract says experts. Here you should write mainly about the relevance, methodology of your research, and any important findings.
Text, font, padding
The procedure for preparing a document in scientific work varies depending on the educational institution. All the necessary information can always be obtained from the supervisor. Often, the basic requirements according to methodology 2011 are used. Work is typed on a computer in a text editor in A4 format (210x297).
As for the margins, you need to set the values: left - 30 mm, right - 10 mm, top - 20 mm, bottom - 20 mm. The default font is Times New Roman. Plain text sizes are 12-14 pt. Line spacing - 1.5.
Abstract structure
This section outlines and explains these structural components. These three main components are:

 1. Background and significance of the study
 2. Components of your research strategy.
 3. conclusions

COMPONENT #1: Research Background and Significance

The first few sentences of your dissertation abstract emphasize the background of your research as well as the importance of the research. Hopefully by the time you start writing your abstract, you will already know why your research is so important says writers.
When explaining the importance of your research, you will also need to provide context for your research. This includes the problem you are solving and your motivation for doing the research. In establishing the background of the study, this part of the abstract should address questions such as:
• What is the purpose of the study?
• Why did you do the research?
• How important is research? Why should anyone care or why should they be interested (is the study interesting)?
Remember, it all needs to be wrapped up in a few sentences. Therefore, describe only those aspects of your research that you consider the most important.

COMPONENT #2: The Components of Your Research Strategy

The relative importance of the methodological components discussed in the abstract will depend on whether any of these components made the study meaningful in some way. Ask yourself: Did any of the following components of the research strategy help make my research meaningful?
• Broad research design (eg, qualitative, quantitative, mixed, etc.)
• Type of research (eg, pilot study, case study, grounded theory, ethnography, etc.)
• Research methods (eg, survey, interview, focus groups, observation, etc.)
• Analytical methods used (eg content analysis, statistical analysis, etc.)
If the answer is yes, then perhaps more attention (and word count) should be given to explaining these components of the research strategy. If not, try to summarize the components used more concisely (i.e., in fewer words). Because the way the research strategy part is written will vary depending on the relative importance.

COMPONENT #3: Conclusions

The final part of the abstract should focus on the conclusions of your research and the results that follow from them.
When writing the final part of the abstract, remember that the conclusions should be precise and concise. There is no need to re-summarize what you have already written. Can't get the job done? Turn key abstract from the experts of the service! Also, be careful not to make statements that cannot be supported by your findings. There is always a danger of over-exaggeration and/or over-generalization in this part of the abstract, which should be avoided.
